Who are we?

 

The Algerian Society of Orthodontics (SAO), founded on November 8, 2011, is a learned society emanating from the Algerian University. Its main objective is to promote and develop orthodontics and dento-facial orthopaedics at the national level.

In addition to its commitment in Algeria, the SAO works for an international visibility, by developing collaborations with learned societies, universities and orthodontic experts around the world. This opening allows an enriching scientific exchange and contributes to the evolution of orthodontic practices in Algeria.
 

Our commitment

 

The SAO is a non-profit association, bringing together orthodontists and professionals in the sector. Its founding members and adherents volunteer to promote scientific advances and strengthen training in the field of orthodontics. Our actions are in the general interest, respecting national values, good morals and current legislation.
 

Our objectives

- Promote orthodontics in Algeria by encouraging scientific exchanges.
- Develop international visibility by establishing partnerships and participating in global events.
- Train and perfect specialists and general practitioners through continuous training.
- Publish scientific books, articles and documents for the dissemination of knowledge.
- Share advances and progress in orthodontics to improve patient care.
