Submit an Article

Before any submission, it is essential to carefully consult the Instructions for Authors of the Algerian Journal of Orthodontics (AJO) .

Strict adherence to formal and substantive requirements is essential to avoid preliminary rejection of the manuscript.



Your submission must include :

1 Cover Letter

A letter addressed to the Editor-in-Chief, specifying:

  • The title of the manuscript.
  • The category of the article (original, clinical case, review, etc.).
  • The originality of the work.
  • Confirmation that it has not been published or submitted elsewhere.

2 Complete Manuscript (Word format only)

  • The manuscript must be submitted only in Word format (.doc or .docx).
  • PDF files are not accepted for the first submission.
  • For a first submission (unrevised manuscript):
    • Text + figures can be integrated into a single Word file.
    • Recommended maximum size: 2 MB.
    • Figures can be inserted within the text or grouped at the end of the file.

3 Figures and Complementary Documents

  • Also provide individual figures in high resolution (JPEG, PNG).
  • Complementary files (appendices, additional data, videos, etc.) must be grouped into a single separate file.
